What to Expect

Join us for a fun and interactive early literacy program designed for children aged 0-5 and their parents/carers. Each session will be filled with lively Cantonese songs, engaging rhymes, and captivating storytelling, all aimed at fostering a love of language and culture in young minds.

Activity Details

- The program is designed for children aged 0-5 and their parents/carers.

- All children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.

- Bookings are essential for each session. Please book online in advance to secure your spot.

- If your preferred session is not visible, it means that the event is fully booked.

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time to check in and ensure the program runs smoothly.

- Due to safety and enjoyment of participants, latecomers will not be admitted to the room after the start time.

- If possible, please leave prams at home as space is limited.

Location and Access

The program will be held at the Lionel Bowen Library in Maroubra, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade. The library is easily accessible by public transport, with buses stopping nearby. There is also ample street parking available in the surrounding area.

- The program is free to attend.

- Library membership is required to attend. Membership is free and can be obtained online or at any branch.

- If you are unable to attend a session, please cancel your tickets as soon as possible to allow others to participate.

- Tickets are not transferable.

- Covid-19 safety terms and conditions apply. Please review them prior to attending the event as they may change with short notice.

- Your attendance at events supported by Randwick City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Images may be used for promotional purposes on council's websites, publications, social media, or by newspapers. By attending this session, you agree to these terms. If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published, please notify staff before the event.
