Sing Along in Portuguese - História Cantada

Join us for an engaging monthly program where young children and their parents can enjoy songs, rhymes, and story reading in Brazilian Portuguese. This activity is designed to foster early language skills and cultural appreciation in a fun and welcoming environment.

What to Expect

This session offers a lively and interactive experience filled with traditional and contemporary Portuguese songs and rhymes. Children aged 0-5 years will be captivated by the storytelling and musical elements, while parents can enjoy sharing this cultural moment with their little ones. The program encourages participation and creates a warm community atmosphere.

Activity Details

- Suitable for children aged 0-5 years and their parents or carers.

- Sessions occur monthly on the third Tuesday.

- Each session lasts 30 minutes, from 10:30 to 11:00 am.

- Bookings are essential and must be made for each session individually.

- Library membership is required but free and easy to obtain online or at any branch.

Location and Access

The event takes place at Lionel Bowen Library, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. The venue is accessible and family-friendly, providing a safe and comfortable space for young children and their families. Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow for check-in and to help the session start on time.
