Discover the joys of growing your own edible plants even in the smallest spaces with this hands-on workshop. Designed for beginners to intermediate gardeners, this session offers practical tips and expert guidance to help you cultivate a thriving container garden.
This 2 1/2 hour workshop will cover essential topics such as soil and potting mix fundamentals, seasonal plant selection, watering and fertilising schedules, basic plant care, and thrifty gardening tips. You'll receive detailed notes and four small edible plants to get you started.
The workshop is suitable for adults and focuses on balcony, courtyard, and small space growing. Participants should bring a paper and pen, a water bottle, and a small box to take their plants home. A light morning tea is included to keep you refreshed during the session.
