Immerse your little ones in the joy of music with Song Play, a specially designed early learning program for children aged 0-5 years. Each session features a different musical theme that encourages children to explore singing, movement, and creativity in a fun and engaging environment.

Song Play sessions run weekly during the public school term, with two age-specific classes: 0-2.5 years from 9:15 to 10:00 and 2.5-5 years from 10:15 to 11:00. The program includes singing, rhythmic activities, listening to live and recorded music, and imaginative group games designed to develop musical skills through Kodály teaching methodologies.
The term runs for eight weeks, starting Wednesday 7 October and finishing Wednesday 25 November 2026. Each term ticket includes a Song Play musical pack to enhance participation.
Sessions are held at the Melbourne Recital Centre, located at 31 Sturt Street, Southbank, Victoria 3006. The venue offers wheelchair access and welcomes assistance animals, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive environment for all families.
