Discover a unique way to spark your creativity by using music and sound as the foundation for storytelling. This engaging workshop invites adults to explore how soundtracks can bring characters and stories to life, whether through real or imagined songs. It's a perfect opportunity to try an unconventional approach to writing in a supportive environment.
You will participate in a series of simple, interactive activities designed to help you create a short soundtrack that complements a character or story. This soundtrack will then inspire you to develop a short written scene, blending auditory and literary creativity.
The session is led by Laetitia, the Writer in Residence, who will guide you through the process and provide helpful tips. Spaces are limited, so booking is essential to secure your spot.
This workshop is suitable for adults aged 18 and over who are interested in creative writing and storytelling. It is a hands-on session, encouraging active participation and experimentation with sound and narrative.
Please book one ticket per person attending to ensure everyone has a place. Photography and videography may be taken during the event for promotional purposes by the City of Swan and event organisers.
The workshop is free of charge, making it an accessible way to explore your creative side without any financial commitment.
