Discover a delightful story time session designed especially for children aged 3 to 5, hosted by a local Speech Pathologist. Your child will enjoy a selection of favourite stories from the Australian Speech Pathology Book of the Year awards shortlist, followed by a fun and creative craft activity. All materials for the craft are provided, so just bring your enthusiasm!
This event offers a unique opportunity to see reading techniques in action that you can use at home to support your child's literacy and language development. It's a warm, interactive environment perfect for young children and their carers.
The session includes a reading segment featuring carefully chosen books that promote language skills, followed by a hands-on craft activity that encourages creativity and fine motor skills. Parents and carers will gain insights into how speech pathologists and libraries collaborate to support early childhood literacy.
Additionally, there is an option to register for a related webinar on November 17, 2025, focusing on building your child's language and literacy development, providing further support and resources.
