Get ready for an exciting and interactive workshop where children aged 7-12 will team up to navigate their Sphero robots through challenging mazes. This hands-on activity encourages problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity as participants collect hidden treasures along the way.
Once the initial maze course is mastered, children will have the opportunity to design their own mazes, adding obstacles and new challenges for others to solve. This dynamic workshop promises fun and learning in equal measure.
Perfect for young tech enthusiasts and curious minds, this event combines play with STEM learning in a supportive environment.
The workshop runs for two hours, including a 10-minute arrival and 10-minute pack-up time. It is designed specifically for children aged 7 to 12 years old. Guardians of children under 12 are required to stay on the library premises during the session.
Participants will work in pairs to guide their Sphero robots, fostering collaboration and communication skills. The event is free but requires registration to secure a spot.
Please note that inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated to ensure a respectful and positive environment for all attendees.
