Dive into a thrilling theatre experience where children are stranded on a mysterious island and must work together to craft an original adventure full of twists and teamwork. This workshop encourages creativity, collaboration, and imagination, perfect for young performers in grades 3-4 (ages 8-10).
Participants will learn new skills, make friends, and enjoy a fun-filled day of acting and storytelling. The week culminates in a live performance on the Ensemble Theatre stage, showcasing their original production.
This is a fantastic opportunity for children to build confidence, enhance their communication skills, and experience the magic of theatre in a supportive environment.
The workshop runs daily from 9:30 to 15:30 with early drop-off available from 8:30am included in the price. Aftercare is offered until 17:00 for a small additional fee, making it convenient for busy parents.
Children will engage in group activities, improvisation, and rehearsals leading up to the final performance. The focus is on teamwork, creativity, and having fun while learning the basics of theatre production.
Suitable for grades 3-4, this workshop is designed to be inclusive and welcoming, ensuring every child feels part of the adventure.
The workshop is held at the Ensemble Theatre within Loreto Kirribilli School, providing a professional theatre environment for the children. The venue is easily accessible and offers a safe, welcoming space for young performers.
Parents can drop off their children at the venue from 8:30am and pick up after the workshop or aftercare if booked. The location is well-known and central, making logistics straightforward for families.

Children should bring comfortable clothing suitable for active participation and a packed lunch. All other materials and props will be provided.
The workshop finishes with a performance on the Ensemble Theatre stage, so parents and family are encouraged to attend and celebrate the children’s achievements.
The cost for the full week is $450, which includes early drop-off from 8:30am. Aftercare until 5:00pm is available for a small daily fee.
