These classes cover a wide range of topics including managing labour and birth, induction, possible complications, and emergency procedures. There are also specialized sessions for caesarean births, newborn care, breastfeeding, safe sleeping, and emotional wellbeing. Classes are led by experienced midwives who provide personalized support and practical advice.
Choose between a full weekend class or a one-day caesarean birth class. The weekend class runs Saturday 08:15 to 16:00 and Sunday 08:30 to 15:00, while the caesarean class is held Saturday 08:15 to 16:00. Booking about 4-6 weeks before your due date is recommended to keep information fresh. Each ticket includes attendance for you and your partner or support person.
