What to Expect
Each session covers a wide range of topics including vaginal and Caesarean births, induction of labour, newborn characteristics, hospital routines, breastfeeding, safe sleeping practices, parenting challenges, emotional wellbeing, sleep and settling techniques, and available community support. The classes are suitable for first-time parents and those experiencing a Caesarean birth for the first time.
Activity Details
The classes run over two days each month and include your partner or support person at no extra cost. If you have BUPA private health insurance, the fee is covered, so please contact the maternity unit before paying. The fee for attendance is $300.00 otherwise. Booking is essential, and only one ticket per family is required.
