Dive into the exciting world of technology and creativity with the STEAM Lab at Truganina Library. This program invites young people to explore robotics through hands-on learning with Edison Robots, fostering skills in science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
Each session builds on the last, encouraging continuous development and teamwork. It's a fantastic opportunity for kids aged 10 to 15 to engage with peers and develop new skills in a supportive environment.
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of robotics and STEAM concepts, plus a sense of accomplishment from creating and programming their own robots.
The program runs weekly on Thursdays from 15:30 to 16:30, starting on 2026-07-16 and continuing for 10 sessions through 2026-09-17. Attendance at all sessions is required as each builds on previous content.
This in-person event is free of charge and designed specifically for Wyndham residents. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Due to high demand, priority is given to participants who have not attended previous terms. Age restrictions are strictly enforced to ensure the best experience for all attendees.
The sessions take place at the Truganina Library Lounge, located within the Truganina Community Centre at 1 Everton Road, Truganina, Victoria, 3029.
The venue is accessible and welcoming, providing a comfortable space for families and young learners to explore technology together.
