Blast off into a space-tacular STEM adventure designed to ignite curiosity and creativity in both children and their accompanying adults. This interactive workshop features hands-on challenges inspired by the wonders of space, encouraging teamwork and problem-solving.
Participants will explore, build, test, and learn together, making it a perfect bonding experience that nurtures your child's confidence and interest in science, technology, engineering, and maths.
Each child will take home one of their 'Out of this World' creations, extending the fun and learning beyond the workshop.
The workshop runs on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 October with two sessions each day: 10:30am to 12:30pm and 2:00pm to 4:00pm. It is designed for children aged 5 to 12 years, who must be accompanied by one adult as adult participation is a key part of the experience.
The program includes three stellar STEM challenges that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration between child and adult.
This workshop is a fantastic school holiday activity that combines education with fun, making STEM accessible and enjoyable for families.
The event takes place at the Australian Museum in the LG Patricia McDonald Education Rooms, located at 1 William Street, Sydney NSW 2010.
The museum is open daily from 10am to 5pm, with free general entry. It is easily accessible by public transport and offers facilities to ensure a comfortable visit for families.

Each child must be accompanied by one adult; adult participation is essential to the workshop.

The cost is $52 for member children and $65 for non-member children. Adult participation is included in the price.
