Storytime sessions offer a delightful introduction to the world of books and reading for preschool children aged 3 to 5 years. These engaging sessions combine storytelling with creative crafts, designed to nurture your child's imagination and early literacy skills.
Children will enjoy listening to captivating stories and participating in hands-on activities that encourage creativity and cognitive development. It's a wonderful opportunity for your little ones to socialize and develop a love for libraries in a safe and welcoming environment.
Parents can relax knowing their children are engaged in a stimulating and educational activity that supports early learning milestones.
The sessions take place every Tuesday and Saturday at 10:00 AM, lasting approximately one hour. Each session is carefully planned to be age-appropriate and interactive, fostering a fun learning atmosphere.
Activities include reading aloud, singing songs, and simple craft projects related to the stories. These elements help children develop listening skills, vocabulary, and fine motor skills.
The program is free of charge and open to all families with preschool-aged children. No prior registration is required, making it easy to join whenever you can.
The Storytime sessions are held in the Children's Area of Campbelltown Library, located at 171 Montacute Road, Newton SA. The library is easily accessible by car and public transport, with parking available nearby.
