Face painting stations add to the festive fun, making it a perfect event for children to dress up and celebrate.
The event features live music by Cassidy Le Creme, creating a lively atmosphere with kid-friendly tunes. Parents can relax knowing the area is safe and traffic-free, allowing children to roam freely and safely.
This family-friendly event invites all Sunshine kids and their parents to join the festivities and enjoy lunch or dinner at nearby restaurants after the party.
The party runs from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Key highlights include:
- Halloween Lolly Dens located at 275 Hampshire Rd, 247 Hampshire Rd, and 254 Hampshire Rd.
- Face Painting Dens on the Civic Green grass area and Bennett Place.
- Best Halloween Kids Costume competition announced at 3:30 pm on the stage.
- Halloween Treat Hunt with prizes drawn at 3:50 pm.
- Shops participating in trick or treating, marked with posters.
Bennett Place will be closed to traffic from midday to 5:00 pm to ensure a safe environment for all attendees.
The event takes place along Hampshire Road from Bennett Place to The Precinct Arcade in Sunshine. Bennett Place near the Sunshine Library is the central hub with a small stage for performances and announcements.
The area is accessible for families with children, and traffic restrictions during the event ensure a safe, pedestrian-friendly space. Nearby restaurants offer convenient options for meals before or after the event.
