Activity Details
SWING runs daily from 26 September to 11 October 2026, with varying opening hours mostly between 11:00 and 18:00. The giant swing seat supports up to 140kg and is suitable for participants at least 120cm tall or aged nine and above. The tiny swing is available for younger children to enjoy their own playful experience.
Safety guidelines include age restrictions (children under 15 must be accompanied), health considerations (no recent surgery, heart conditions, or motion sickness), and weight limits. The event is designed to be inclusive and safe for all attendees.
The installation is presented by Sydney Opera House as part of the Wild Things festival, curated to bring families together through play and shared experiences.
