This engaging two-day workshop invites children aged 8 to 11 with some dance experience to dive into a variety of dance styles. From the abstract movements of contemporary dance to the energetic beats of hip hop, your child will explore new ways to express themselves through movement.
Each day is packed with creative choreography, theatrical jazz, and lyrical dance, designed to extend skills and inspire confidence. The workshop culminates in a special performance for families, showcasing what the dancers have learned.
The workshop runs from 10:00 to 16:00 on April 9 and 10, 2026, at Bondi Pavilion. It is suitable for children who have at least one to two years of dance experience.
A final showing for parents and families will take place at 15:45 on the last day, providing a wonderful opportunity to see the progress and joy of the young dancers. Please note, filming and photography are not permitted during the performance to ensure a safe environment.
Held at the iconic Bondi Pavilion, this venue is easily accessible and offers a vibrant community atmosphere perfect for creative activities. Located by the beach, it provides a scenic and inspiring backdrop for the workshop.
Families can enjoy the surrounding Bondi area before or after the sessions, making it a great outing for the whole family.
The workshop fee is $220, with an early bird discount of 10% available if booked before March 6, 2026, using the code "AUTUMN2026".
