What to Expect
Experience the gentle yet powerful practice of Tai Chi with a focus on the Six Unity Qigong, a series of mindful movements that harmonize body, mind, and spirit. This course is perfect for intermediate or continuing students eager to deepen their understanding of Chinese meridians and medicine.
Classes promote good posture, coordination, meditation, and relaxation, helping you embark on a journey of physical healing and emotional growth. Whether attending in person or online, you will be guided by expert Qigong Master Simon Blow.
This welcoming environment suits all ages and encourages a positive state of wellbeing through simple, flowing movements linked to the five elements of nature.
Activity Details
The course runs weekly on Mondays from 11:30 to 12:30, starting 2 February and concluding 23 March 2026. You can attend in person at Lionel Bowen Library or join online via Zoom.
In-person attendees will receive the Zoom link two hours before each session, enabling flexible participation. Bookings are essential and open from 5 January at 9:30 am.
The cost is $18 per term for in-person attendance, while online participation is free. Please note you must select your attendance mode when booking and cannot switch without cancelling and re-registering.
Location and Access
The in-person sessions take place at Lionel Bowen Library, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. The venue is accessible and committed to supporting participants with access requirements—please contact the library to arrange assistance.
Online sessions are delivered via Zoom, with joining details sent upon registration. The library provides FAQs and support for those unfamiliar with Zoom to ensure a smooth experience.

Important Information
Attendance requires library membership, which is free and can be obtained online or at any branch. Participants missing three or more consecutive weeks without notification may forfeit their booking.
Covid-19 safety measures apply for in-person attendance, and late arrivals cannot be admitted to maintain session flow. The sessions are live only and will not be recorded or distributed.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for setup and technical checks. By attending, you consent to possible photography or video recordings used for promotional purposes, with options to opt out by notifying staff.
Booking and Prices
Bookings open Monday 5 January 2026 at 9:30 am via Eventbrite. In-person attendance costs $18 per term, while online participation is free.
Tickets are non-transferable and require cancellation if you cannot attend to allow others to participate. Refunds are available up to one day before the event start date minus Eventbrite fees.
