What to Expect
Experience the gentle, flowing movements of Tai Chi that promote good posture, coordination, meditation, and relaxation. This intermediate class is perfect for those continuing their Tai Chi journey and looking to absorb the essence of Daoist cultivation techniques.
You will learn powerful internal sequences and exercises that stimulate different organs and meridians, enhancing your physical and emotional wellbeing. The class is taught by Simon Blow, a respected Qigong Master trained at Wudang Mountain in China.
Whether attending in person or online, you will be guided through movements that calm the mind, improve circulation, increase strength, and cleanse the body of toxins.
Activity Details
Classes run weekly on Mondays from 2026-07-06 to 2026-08-03, 11:30 to 12:30. The sessions are available both in person at Lionel Bowen Library, Maroubra, and online via Zoom.
In-person attendees will receive the Zoom link two hours before each session to join online if needed. Bookings are essential and must be made once to attend all sessions.
The course fee is $18 per term for in-person attendance, while online participation is free. Participants must choose their attendance mode when booking, with no option to switch later without cancellation and re-registration.
Location and Access
The in-person classes take place at Lionel Bowen Library, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. The venue is accessible and committed to inclusivity.
Online participants will join via Zoom, with joining details sent by email before each class. The library provides support for those unfamiliar with Zoom through their online FAQs.
Randwick City Library encourages early arrival for in-person sessions to ensure a timely start and smooth experience.
Important Information
Please note that bookings are limited and essential. Missing three or more consecutive sessions without notification may result in forfeiting your spot.
Library membership is required to attend and is free to join online or at any branch.
Covid-19 safety measures apply for in-person attendance, and all participants agree to terms and conditions including no recording or distribution of sessions.

Bookings open Monday 18 May at 9:30am via Eventbrite. You only need to register once for all sessions.
In-person attendance costs $18 per term, while online attendance is free.
Refunds are available for cancellations made up to one day before the event start date, minus Eventbrite fees. Please cancel promptly if unable to attend to allow others to participate.
