Activity Details
Working bees run from 09:30 to 11:30 on the last Tuesday of each month, with multiple dates available through to December 2026. These sessions involve practical tasks such as planting native species, removing invasive weeds, and general bushcare.
No prior experience is necessary, making it an ideal activity for parents looking to involve their school-aged children in meaningful environmental stewardship.
Volunteers are advised to wear sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants, long sleeves, and a hat, and to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during the morning.
