Immerse yourself in a creative afternoon where you'll learn to transform teabags into beautiful artworks of birds, insects, or flowers. Guided by multidisciplinary artist Carolyn Corletto, you'll use pen and watercolour to bring your nature-inspired image to life.
This workshop also offers the chance to embellish your piece with simple or decorative stitching using cotton thread, making each artwork uniquely yours. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this session promises inspiration and confidence to create miniature teabag artworks for yourself or as heartfelt gifts.
All materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own images or extra dried teabags if you're quick with your craft.
The workshop runs on March 1, 2026, from 12:30 to 15:00, hosted at Fabrik in Lobethal. It is suitable for adults aged 18 and over and welcomes beginners.
Carolyn Corletto brings a wealth of experience from painting to textiles and ceramics, with a passion for sharing her skills. Her background includes teaching quilting, crochet, and applique, and she has been recognized with the SALA Advertiser Contemporary Art Prize.
Tea and coffee will be provided to keep you refreshed during this creative journey. Remember to wear clothing suitable for an art workshop to stay comfortable while you work.
