What to Expect
Bears from far and wide are packing their bags for a fun-filled day at the Blue Mountains. After a year of hibernation, the Museum’s resident Teddies are ready to welcome families for an exciting adventure. Children can bring their own teddy bears and join in the festivities, making memories that will last a lifetime.
Take a 15-minute journey on the Steam Tram with your teddy by your side, running hourly from 10:30 until 14:30. The Teddy Bear Express offers a thrilling ride exclusively for bears, running four times a day. Families can also participate in the ‘Spot the Teddies Competition,’ searching for shy teddies hidden around the museum, snapping photos, and submitting entries for a chance to win prizes.
Meet ‘Mama’ and ‘Papa’ Bear and receive a pack of ‘Gummi Bears’ for every child. Explore the historic Roundhouse by climbing on carriages and engines, enjoy the museum’s exhibits including two working model train layouts, and relax with a hot or cold drink accompanied by a pie, sausage roll, or gourmet sandwich. Don’t forget to browse the gift shop for unique souvenirs.
