This engaging drawing and painting course is designed especially for children aged 8 to 12. Your child will explore the fundamentals of drawing, painting, and colour through a variety of art materials. Each term introduces a new theme to inspire creativity and skill development.
The supportive environment encourages young artists to express themselves freely while learning essential techniques. All materials are provided, so your child only needs to bring a sketchbook.

The course runs for 9 weeks from 12 February to 2 April 2026, with sessions every Thursday from 15:45 to 17:15. There is also an alternative session available on Wednesdays from 16:15 to 17:45, running from 4 February to 1 April 2026.
Classes are led by experienced instructor Bridget Seaton, who fosters a nurturing and inspiring atmosphere.
The cost for the full 9-week course is $240, covering all art materials except your child's sketchbook.
Classes take place at Atwell House & Gallery, located at 586 Canning Highway, Alfred Cove. This venue is well-equipped for creative learning and offers a welcoming space for children and parents alike.

Parents can easily drop off and pick up their children at the scheduled times.
Children should bring their own sketchbook to each session. All other materials will be supplied by the course.
