This engaging class is led by the acclaimed actor, writer, and director Shideh Faramand. Participants will learn essential film-making skills from concept to completion, collaborating with others to create their own short film. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this course offers a welcoming space to bring your vision to life.
The class runs every Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM between 3 February and 31 March 2026. It is open to all skill levels and welcomes support workers and carers. The workshop focuses on practical film creation techniques, including storytelling, cinematography, and acting, culminating in the production of a short film.
The sessions take place at the Empire Theatre, located at 54-56 Neil Street, Toowoomba City QLD 4350. The venue is accessible and centrally located, making it easy for participants and their carers to attend.
This class is designed for participants aged 16 and over with no upper age limit. No prior experience is necessary, and support workers and carers are encouraged to join. All students must book a trial class before enrolling for the full term.
