Lights! Camera! Action! Dive into the exciting world of film-making with the indelarts Toowoomba Film Class. This immersive workshop series is perfect for anyone aged 16 and up who wants to explore storytelling, cinematography, and acting in a supportive and inclusive environment. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this class empowers you to bring your unique vision to life through short film creation.
Expect a hands-on, collaborative experience where you'll learn essential film-making techniques from concept to completion. Guided by acclaimed actor, writer, and director Shideh Faramand, you'll work alongside fellow aspiring filmmakers to create your own short film. The class welcomes participants of all experience levels and encourages support workers and carers to join.
This term runs from 3 February 2026 to 31 March 2026, with sessions every Tuesday from 13:00 to 14:30. Each lesson costs $30, or you can pay $270 for the full term plus a booking fee. Students must book a trial class via the enrolment link before continuing. The class is open to anyone aged 16 and above, with no upper age limit, and no prior experience is necessary.
