What to Expect

Discover a vibrant weekly program designed especially for preschoolers aged 3 to 5 years. Pre-school Pioneers blends arts & crafts, cooking, and sensory activities to spark your child's creativity and curiosity. Each session encourages healthy habits and a love for nature, making learning fun and engaging.

Your child will enjoy hands-on experiences like making bliss balls, crafting snowflakes, and creating bug hotels, all while bonding with you in a supportive environment. Led by experienced educators from Messy Makers, this program nurtures imagination and essential developmental skills.

Join us for themed weeks including National Book Week and Father’s Day, where your child can dress up and create special gifts. This is a perfect opportunity to watch your little one’s creativity soar!

Activity Details

The program runs every Friday from 11:15 to 12:00, starting 1st August through 19th September 2025. Each week features a unique theme such as mini chefs, arctic animals, and spring wind chimes. Activities are designed to be interactive and sensory-rich, promoting both fun and learning.

Parents and guardians are required to stay with their children throughout the session, ensuring a safe and inclusive experience. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to settle in and prepare for the session.

The sessions are priced at $15 each or $80 for the full 8-week term, offering a great saving. Please note that while we love the enthusiasm, refunds are not available due to the nature of the program.

Location and Access

All sessions take place at PHIVE, located at 5 Parramatta Square, Dharug Country, Maker Space 1, Level 3. PHIVE is a fully accessible and inclusive community hub in the heart of Parramatta’s CBD.

The venue offers parent rooms for comfort and convenience, and the space is designed to be welcoming for families. Parking and public transport options are available nearby, making it easy to attend.

We acknowledge that PHIVE sits on the lands and waters of the Burramattagal of the Dharug nation, a place of ceremony, story, and tradition.

Important Information

This program is tailored for children aged 3 to 5 years. Parents or guardians must remain with their children during the sessions to support participation and safety.

Activities can get messy, so we suggest bringing a change of clothes for your child. The program emphasizes inclusivity and accessibility for all families.

Please arrive early to ensure the program starts on time. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided if you miss a session due to the hands-on nature of the activities.
