What to Expect
The Art of Connection celebrates the strength of women and the power of shared experience through a compelling exhibition. This event brings together women whose lives have been shaped by resilience, creativity, and connection, many of whom are participants in the Women and Mentoring (WAM) program.
Visitors will witness a rich tapestry of stories expressed through paintbrushes, pens, cameras, and other creative mediums. Some artists are engaging in artistic practice for the first time, while others are rediscovering their creative voices.
Each artwork is an act of courage and self-expression, exploring connections with self, community, history, and new possibilities. This exhibition is a celebration of voice, vulnerability, and community.
