You will witness stories of grief, illness, family violence, and social isolation transformed into a celebration of resilience and connection. Featuring older female and gender-fluid performers, this performance highlights the healing power of nature and collective experience.
The Sea Wolves Howl is a unique theatrical experience that blends dialogue, monologue, song, image, and movement, created from real interviews with the swimming community.
The performance runs for 60 minutes with no interval and is recommended for ages 15 and up due to some adult themes and strong language. It includes references to death, physical and mental illness, family violence, social isolation, and limited swearing in English and Italian.
This event is a sold-out season at Flinders Fringe 2024 and has been presented at Showcase. It is a celebration of community resilience and the transformative power of nature.
