What to Expect
Join a welcoming yarning circle led by Vanessa Corunna, a proud Noongar woman, where you can bring your questions about landcare and Indigenous cultural sites. This session offers a unique opportunity to learn how to identify Indigenous artefacts, scattersites, scar trees, and other culturally significant locations in the bush.
The workshop begins indoors with a light morning tea and conversation, then moves outdoors for a short walk in the surrounding bushland, weather permitting. Please note the walk is on non-footpath terrain and may not be suitable for wheelchair users or prams.
This event is designed for adults and young people aged 12 and over who are passionate about caring for Country and deepening their connection to local Indigenous knowledge.
