Activity Details
The show runs for approximately 55 minutes without an interval, featuring a dynamic set that is built live on stage. The narrative follows a chaotic day on a building site where water sprays, power cuts, and pipes burst, challenging the performers to fix everything before disaster strikes.
On Sunday, 4 October, after the 2:30pm show, there is a special post-show artist talk lasting about 20 minutes, where children can ask questions and learn about the inspiration behind the performance.
Tickets are available in Premium, A Reserve, and B Reserve categories, with special pricing for Sydney Opera House Insiders and groups of four or more.
Location and Access
The event takes place at the Playhouse, located in the north-western corner of the Sydney Opera House, accessible via the Western Foyers. The venue is pram accessible with lifts and designated pram parking outside.
Sydney Opera House is conveniently reachable by car, train, ferry, lightrail, bus, bike, or on foot, with a 7-10 minute walk from Circular Quay.
Wilson Parking operates the nearby car park, offering discounted rates if booked ahead. Public transport options are advised via Transport NSW.
Important Information
Recommended for children aged 6 and above. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The venue is committed to child safety and wellbeing, with accessible seating available for those requiring assistance. Latecomers may be seated at suitable breaks to minimize disruption.
The Sydney Opera House is a smoke-free environment, and food and drinks (other than water bottles) are not permitted inside the venue.
Booking and Prices
Standard ticket prices are $49 (Premium), $45 (A Reserve), and $39 (B Reserve). Sydney Opera House Insiders receive discounted rates of $44, $40, and $35 respectively. Groups of four or more also benefit from these discounted prices.
An $8.95 booking fee applies per transaction. Tickets are only reliably available through the Sydney Opera House official box office.
Pre-sale for Insiders begins 7 July 2026, with general public sales starting 9 July 2026. Tickets are encouraged to be purchased electronically to avoid queues.
