Toddler Time is a delightful opportunity for your little ones to explore language, music, and movement in a warm and welcoming environment. Designed specifically for toddlers aged 12 months to 3 years, this session encourages talking, singing, rhyming, dancing, and reading together. Your child will also enjoy shaking musical instruments and beating to the rhythm, all while cuddled close during story time.
This is a wonderful chance to bond with your child and meet other local families. Older siblings are welcome to join, provided they bring a 'baby' doll or stuffed animal to help them engage and focus alongside the younger children.
Expect lots of smiles, laughter, and new friendships formed in this nurturing setting.
Sessions run weekly on Fridays from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, making it a perfect mid-morning outing. No bookings are required, so you can drop in whenever it suits your schedule.
This event is part of the First 5 Forever initiative by the Queensland Government, coordinated by the State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.
Please note that attendance may be recorded through photos or videos for promotional purposes by the Lockyer Valley Regional Council. If you prefer not to have your image published, notify the staff before the session begins.
The sessions take place at Gatton Library, located at 34 Lake Apex Drive, Gatton QLD 4343. The library is a family-friendly venue with easy access and parking available.

This session is tailored for toddlers aged 12 months to 3 years. Older siblings may attend but should bring a doll or similar to stay engaged.
Bookings are no longer required, allowing for flexible attendance.
By attending, you consent to possible photography or video recording during the event. Please inform staff if you do not wish to be included.
Toddler Time is completely free of charge.
No advance booking is necessary, so just come along and enjoy the session.
