Unleash your child's inner champion with the Train Like a Firebird Clinic, designed especially for young netball enthusiasts aged 11 to 16. This exclusive program offers a unique chance to train, play, and learn netball techniques from a professional Queensland Firebirds Suncorp Super Netball player. It's an exciting opportunity to experience the spirit and skills of top-tier athletes.
Participants will be grouped by age and skill level to ensure a tailored and supportive environment. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to sharpen their game, this clinic promises fun, learning, and inspiration.
The clinic runs for two and a half hours, beginning with a two-hour on-court training session from 12:00 to 14:00. This hands-on coaching includes professional drills and techniques used by elite players. Following the training, there is a 30-minute Q&A and signing session from 14:00 to 14:30, where participants can engage directly with the coach, ask questions, and get autographs.
Participants are welcome to leave after the training session or stay for the full experience. The clinic is limited to small groups to maximize individual attention and learning.
The event takes place at LOT 9 Sean McCarthy Way, Highfields QLD 4352, within the Highfields Aquatic & Fitness Centre. This venue is easily accessible and provides excellent facilities for sport and fitness activities.
