These Transport Information Sessions are designed to support individuals who face challenges accessing public transport due to health conditions. The sessions offer valuable insights into various transport programs available to make travel easier and more affordable.
During the session, attendees will learn about the multipurpose taxi program, which offers a half-price taxi card, community bus services, government-subsidised transport programs, and the companion card. The sessions are informative and tailored to help participants understand their options and how to access these services.
The session lasts approximately 1.5 hours and covers a range of transport assistance programs. It is ideal for seniors or anyone with limited mobility or health-related transport needs. Participants can ask questions and receive guidance on registration and eligibility for each program.
The session on Thursday, 21 May 2026, will be held at Mordialloc Neighbourhood House, located at 457 Main Street, Mordialloc. The venue is accessible and centrally located to ensure ease of attendance.
Registration is required to attend. You can register by calling 9587 4534, emailing community@kingston.vic.gov.au, or visiting in person. The session is free of charge and open to all who meet the criteria.
There is no cost to attend this session. Early registration is encouraged to secure your place and receive any necessary materials ahead of time.
