Discover the joy of playing the ukulele in this beginner-friendly workshop series designed for all ages. Whether you have never picked up an instrument before or want to refresh your skills, this course offers a relaxed and supportive environment to learn.
Facilitator Saulan Yin-Lo will guide you through the basic notes and strumming techniques, helping you play a few simple tunes by the end of the sessions. Ukuleles are provided free of charge, or you can bring your own.

The course runs over four weeks with sessions on Mondays 4 May, 11 May, 18 May, and an additional session on Friday 29 May 2026. Each session lasts one hour from 10:30 to 11:30 am.
Participants must commit to attending all four sessions to ensure continuity and progress. Bookings open Tuesday 7 April at 9:30 am and are essential due to limited spaces.
The workshop is free for library members, and membership can be obtained online or at any Randwick City Library branch.
