Dinner time can be a challenging experience for many families, especially those with children who are picky eaters or have sensory sensitivities. This engaging online webinar is designed to help parents better understand these challenges and discover supportive approaches to create calmer mealtimes.
Join May Lee, an experienced occupational therapist and director of Hope Kids OT, as she shares valuable insights into sensory processing and its impact on eating behaviors. The session will provide practical strategies based on SOS Feeding Principles, a strengths-based, family-centred approach to feeding children. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions during a live Q&A segment.
This event is delivered online via Zoom, making it easy to attend from the comfort of your home. It is suitable for parents of school-aged children who experience picky eating or sensory processing difficulties. The webinar will be recorded, allowing you to revisit the information at your convenience.
The webinar is hosted by the City of Boroondara in collaboration with Monash, Manningham, and Maroondah councils. Access is entirely online, requiring only an internet connection and a device capable of running Zoom.
