Discover a unique opportunity to help redesign your neighbourhood in a fun and engaging way. This event invites you to bring your ideas, creativity, and opinions to transform the Victorian Pride Centre into a pop-up urban play design studio. It's a welcoming space for all identities to come as they are and explore new ways of being in the city.
Join interactive activities including music, games, role-play, and creative workshops designed to inspire playful urban design. You can engage in collaborative musical play featuring Indigenous games and folk instruments, introspective tabletop play, and imaginative creative sessions. Meet the play designers from RMIT’s future play lab and share your experiences of play, creativity, and social connection in public spaces.
This event is hosted by the future play lab and supported by Minus18. It offers three distinct play spaces: active and musical play, introspective tabletop play, and imaginative creative play. Participants may also be invited to take part in casual interviews to contribute to ongoing research, though this is entirely optional.
