Activity Details

Participants are asked to follow health and safety guidelines, including staying home if experiencing any flu-like symptoms. ArtPlay staff and artists provide guidance throughout the activities to ensure a positive experience.

Photography and recording may occur during events, with consent obtained during registration. The venue cannot accommodate group bookings or birthday parties.

Location and Access

ArtPlay is situated in Birrarung Marr, Melbourne, adjacent to a popular playground and near Federation Square. From Flinders Street Station, visitors can cross Swanston Street and follow Princes Walk along the river to reach the venue.

Parking is available nearby, including the Federation Square car park with lift and stair access to ground level. Wilson Parking provides additional parking options with rates and hours available online.

The venue is housed in a distinctive red brick building, easily identifiable next to the playground, making it convenient for families to locate.

Important Information

For the safety of all participants, children with a risk of anaphylaxis requiring an EpiPen® or equivalent are advised that a parent or carer should remain onsite during events. ArtPlay staff are first aid trained but not equipped or trained to manage anaphylaxis emergencies.

Participants should inform staff of any medical conditions or allergies in advance to help prepare for a safe experience.

The City of Melbourne respects privacy and collects personal information during booking solely for safety and planning purposes, with strict policies to protect this data.
