Step into a vibrant cultural journey with Quandamooka artist Delvene Cockatoo-Collins as she brings to life the story of Warrajamba, the mermaid. This immersive experience invites families to connect with Indigenous heritage through storytelling and hands-on creativity.
Children and adults alike can create their own mermaid or dugong using specially designed artist stamps, linking their artwork to the rich cultural narratives of Warrajamba and Yungong, the dugong. Delvene’s sculptural pieces, crafted from natural materials gathered from Country, offer a unique insight into traditional artistry.
