What to Expect
Dive into a fun and educational experience designed for children aged 5 to 8. Your little scientist will learn about the vital role water plays in sustaining life through interactive activities and expert guidance.
They'll get active with a lively water cycle theatre show that brings science to life. Then, they'll explore the health of the local water ecosystem by netting for water bugs in the CERES dam.
Finally, children will investigate the fascinating waterbugs living in the nearby Merri Creek, connecting them directly with nature and environmental science.
Activity Details
This workshop runs for two hours on Tuesday, 7 April 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00. It is tailored specifically for children aged 5 to 8 years.
Each child must be accompanied by an adult guardian throughout the workshop and any breaks, with a maximum of one guardian per child.
Please plan to arrive early to allow time for parking and a short 5-minute walk to the meeting point at Terra Terra Wonder Playspace within the park.

The event takes place at CERES Community Environment Park, located at the corner of Roberts and Stewart Streets, Brunswick East VIC 3057.
