What to Expect
Unleash your child's creativity in this unique workshop where primary school students explore ideas of identity and culture. Guided by Kamilaroi/Gamilaraay artist Dennis Golding, children will design a personal symbol reflecting their cultural experiences.
This engaging session encourages kids to think deeply about what shapes their identity and then transform that concept into a powerful emblem. The highlight is printing this symbol onto a calico cape they get to take home and proudly wear.
Perfect for young minds eager to express themselves through art, this workshop combines cultural learning with hands-on creativity, making it a memorable experience for your child.
