This online wellbeing conversation offers a compassionate space for individuals living with a terminal illness, their carers, or anyone planning ahead. A representative from Eastern Palliative Care (EPC) will guide you through essential information to help you feel supported and confident during this challenging time.
You will learn about advance care planning and how to live well at home or support a loved one in doing so. The session covers community palliative care services, including nursing, family support, and allied health.
Volunteer services such as biography writing, dog walking, photography, and respite companions will also be introduced, highlighting the comprehensive support available.
This event is part of the Boroondara Wellbeing Conversation Series, delivered online via Microsoft Teams. It is free to attend and designed to provide practical advice and emotional support.
The session runs for one hour, offering ample time for questions and engagement. It is suitable for middle-aged parents who may be caring for family members or planning for future care needs.
