The Whitehorse Seniors Festival 2026 invites community groups, clubs, and organisations to celebrate and connect with older residents through a diverse range of activities. This annual festival is a joyful and inclusive celebration designed to bring people together, build skills, and spark joy across the Whitehorse community.
Throughout October, enjoy a rich program featuring gentle exercise classes, art workshops, guest speakers, music performances, cultural experiences, bush walks, and social gatherings. Whether you want to showcase your group’s unique qualities or simply join in the festivities, there is something for everyone to enjoy and participate in.
The festival runs from 7 October to 28 October 2026, with events hosted by over 70 local community hosts delivering more than 280 activities. One highlighted activity is the Social Mini Golf session at Morack Public Golf Course, held every Tuesday morning with light refreshments and snacks provided.
Events take place across various venues in Whitehorse, including Morack Public Golf Course located at 379-399 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading Victoria 3131. The venues are accessible and welcoming, ensuring a comfortable experience for all attendees.
Expressions of Interest for hosting activities are open until Friday 12 June 2026. Groups are encouraged to start conversations with their committees to plan their participation. Funding support is available through the Whitehorse Community Grants Program 2026 for those planning special events.
