Wiggle, Jiggle & Grow is a delightful and gentle movement and music session tailored for children aged 6 months to 4 years and their parents or carers. This program offers a flexible, mixed-age group environment where children can move, play, and explore at their own pace without pressure.
Each session is packed with simple movement, playful music, original songs, dancing, interactive games, and sensory play using props like scarves and parachutes. Special moments include African drumming and a calming mindful wind-down to end the session on a peaceful note.
Parents and carers are encouraged to join in as much or as little as they like, making it a wonderful opportunity to bond and share joyful experiences with their little ones.
The sessions run weekly on Wednesdays from 21 October to 9 December 2026, between 11:00 AM and 11:45 AM. Each class supports children's confidence, body awareness, coordination, balance, listening skills, focus, and social connection.
This program is ideal for pre-school aged children and their carers, providing a safe and welcoming space to move, laugh, and connect. The casual session cost is $15, or you can opt for the full term at $80.
Classes take place at Dharug Country, Yarra Hall, located within the Yarra Community Centre at 10 Uhrig Road, Lidcombe. Access to the venue is controlled by a pin code, which will be provided in your registration email.
The centre is situated on the lands and waters of the Wangal people of the Dharug nation, a place of ceremony, story, and tradition. Respect is extended to Dharug Ancestors, Elders, and all First Nations people attending or visiting.
Parents and carers must stay with their children throughout the session and are encouraged to participate alongside them. Bringing your own yoga mat is recommended, although some mats will be available on site.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow for registration. Note that refunds are not generally offered due to the unpredictable nature of children, though exceptional circumstances may be considered.
This workshop is exclusively for children aged 6 months to 4 years.
Bookings can be made online for individual sessions at $15 each or for the entire term at $80. Early booking is advised due to limited space and the popularity of the program.
