What to Expect

Wonderbox offers an immersive journey inside a giant puzzle-box where kooky carnival characters guide children through a multi-sensory wonderland. Expect large-scale projections, tiny delightful surprises, and infectious live music that engage all senses. Each child is encouraged to find a magical version of themselves through this enchanting experience.

Activity Details

The performance runs for approximately 60 minutes and is recommended for children aged 8 and above. It features accessible elements such as assistive hearing systems, wheelchair access, and companion card acceptance. The show is presented by Perth-based Sensorium Theatre, known for their inclusive arts experiences.

Location and Access

Wonderbox takes place at PHIVE, located in Parramatta Square. The venue is wheelchair accessible and equipped with assistive hearing technology. Families can easily reach the location via public transport or car, with parking options nearby.

Important Information

Tickets are strictly limited to 15 students plus carers per session for education bookings. One teacher is admitted free for every 20 students booked. Children aged 0-18 months may sit on an adult’s lap free of charge, but a valid ticket is required for children over 18 months. Booking requires a 25% non-refundable deposit, with early bird pricing available for schools booking and paying by 14 February 2025.

Standard ticket price is $24. Additional transaction fees of $6.95 apply. Bookings for education groups can be made by emailing education_riverside@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au. Payment details and invoices will be provided upon booking confirmation. Tickets should be purchased only through authorized agencies to avoid invalid tickets.
