Get ready for a groovy day out at Woofstock, a vibrant festival inspired by the legendary Woodstock but designed for dogs and their owners. This event promises a lively atmosphere filled with peace, love, and pawsitivity, perfect for families looking to enjoy quality time with their furry friends.
Enjoy live music, engaging performances, and live demonstrations that will entertain both you and your dog. Food trucks will offer delicious eats catering to all tastes, and unique market stalls will provide plenty of browsing opportunities.
A highlight this year is the free Puppy Yoga sessions, a relaxing and fun experience for dogs and their humans alike. Plus, don't miss the Fashion Paw-rade, where you can dress up in colourful hippy gear and compete for fun prizes.
Woofstock runs from 11:00 to 15:00 on Saturday 21 November 2026 at Hazelmere Road Reserve. The event is free to attend but requires bookings for the Puppy Yoga sessions, which are limited and available in four 30-minute slots throughout the day.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times for safety, with retractable leashes discouraged. The Fashion Paw-rade includes categories such as Grooviest human/dog duo, Best dressed dog, Best fur do, and Best dog trick.
Please ensure you clean up after your dog using the designated doggie dunny located near the small dog park entrance. The dog park will be closed for off-leash play during the event but open for on-leash participation.
Woofstock takes place at Hazelmere Road Reserve, Marion. The reserve offers level access and is wheelchair accessible, with accessible parking bays available off Southern Avenue near the entrance.
There is limited parking on-site, so walking, cycling, or carpooling is encouraged. Additional parking is available on surrounding streets, with consideration for local residents and parking restrictions.
Accessible toilets and casual event seating are provided, though visitors are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or portable chairs for comfort.
This is a free community event, but Puppy Yoga sessions require advance booking due to limited spaces. The event will proceed rain or shine unless weather conditions become dangerous.
Dogs must remain on a leash throughout the event, and the small and large dog parks will be closed from 7:00 to 17:00 on the event day for setup and pack down.
Nearby off-leash dog exercise areas are available for use during this time. Please be mindful of safety and leash rules in all areas.
Entry to Woofstock is free for all attendees. Puppy Yoga sessions require free tickets, which must be booked in advance and are available until sold out.
Tickets can be cancelled if you cannot attend to allow others on the waitlist to participate. Food and coffee trucks will be available for purchase, catering to various dietary needs.
Bringing your own food is welcome, and there are plenty of grassy areas to enjoy a picnic with your family and dog.
