This engaging online workshop focuses on the essential skills needed to identify and manage hazardous manual handling risks in the workplace. Delivered by WorkSafe Victoria, it offers practical tools to prevent injuries and promote a safer work environment.
Participants will gain insights into common musculoskeletal injuries such as sprains, strains, back injuries, and chronic pain. The session includes expert advice from an independent ergonomics and safety specialist, providing tailored guidance for your workplace needs.
Whether you are an employer, manager, or supervisor, this training will empower you with the knowledge to protect your team and enhance productivity.
The training covers how to carry out basic risk assessments and apply simple risk management approaches. You will learn to recognize early signs of injury and access free tools and support to maintain workplace safety.
This workshop is designed specifically for small to medium-sized businesses with 1 to 199 employees, including full-time, part-time, and casual staff. It is ideal for those responsible for occupational health and safety (OHS) in their workplace.
