What to Expect

You'll gain valuable insights into creating your own worm farm at home, turning organic waste into both castings and liquid fertiliser that benefit your garden plants. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your composting skills, this session is designed to inspire and educate.
This event is part of the Home Waste Compost Subsidy program, giving you the chance to purchase a subsidised worm farm at a discounted price.
Activity Details
The workshop runs from 19:00 to 20:30 on Tuesday, 24 March 2026, at the Bibra Lake Community Centre. It is open to all, including non-residents, with a $5 ticket price.
Attendees who wish to purchase a subsidised worm farm for $95 should bring proof of address, such as a driver’s license or utility bill. Light refreshments will be provided to keep you energized during the session.

Non-residents are welcome to attend and learn about worm farming, although the subsidy applies primarily to Cockburn residents. Nearby councils may offer similar programs.
