What's fun, interactive and noisy? It's Wriggle and Giggle. This delightful program invites babies aged 0-2 years to engage in creative play, social interaction, and musical fun. Through gentle action songs, nursery rhymes, knee bounces, and baby games, your little one will be introduced to the rich oral tradition that supports language development and reading readiness.
These sessions are designed to be a joyful and stimulating experience for both babies and their parents or carers. Expect lots of giggles, wiggles, and opportunities to bond while supporting early literacy skills.
Wriggle and Giggle runs weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Campbelltown Library. Sessions are held at 9:30 am and 11:00 am on Wednesdays, and at 10:00 am on Thursdays. Each session is free of charge and suitable for babies from birth up to 2 years old.
The program includes a downloadable Wriggle and Giggle Song Book to extend the fun and learning at home. This resource supports parents in continuing the activities beyond the library sessions.
The sessions take place in the Children's Area of Campbelltown Library, located at 171 Montacute Road, Newton SA. The library is accessible and welcoming, providing a safe and comfortable environment for families.
