Step into the tranquil surrounds of Ripponlea Estate for a unique poetry workshop focused on dreaming together towards sustainable futures. This session invites you to expand your imagination through vivid imagery, sound, and sensory awareness, inspired by the 'Futures' art installation featured in the Botanica Festival.
Whether you are a beginner, an experienced writer, or simply curious about poetry, this workshop welcomes all. You will engage in a series of creative prompts and exercises designed to help you envision a better world for present and future generations.
Participants will also have the opportunity to perform their poems at the Poetry Open Mic event during the following weekend’s Botanica Festival, making this a truly immersive and inspiring experience.
The workshop runs for one hour, from 14:30 to 15:30 on Sunday, 3 May 2026. A half-hour lunch break is included, during which you are encouraged to picnic on the beautiful grounds and enjoy gentle conversation with fellow attendees. Light refreshments will be provided to keep you refreshed and inspired.
