What to Expect

Experience an engaging and interactive online storytelling session led by Rebecca from the Wurundjeri Council. This event is specially designed for young children aged 0 to 5 years and their families, offering a unique opportunity to learn about the rich Wurundjeri culture, Woi-wurrung language, and Dreaming stories through captivating storytelling, rhyme, and song.

Children will be immersed in traditional tales that foster cultural awareness and language appreciation, making it a wonderful introduction to Aboriginal heritage. The session encourages participation and is perfect for kindergartens, early years groups, and families looking for meaningful cultural experiences.

Activity Details

The storytime runs for 30 minutes, providing a concise yet enriching experience suitable for young attention spans. It is delivered live online via Microsoft Teams, making it accessible from the comfort of your home.

Please ensure to register each class group attending to secure your place. Note that there is also a session for children aged 5 to 8 years held just before this one, from 9:30 am to 9:55 am.

The sessions do not run during school holidays, so plan accordingly to not miss out on these special storytelling events.
