Dive into the world of books with fellow young readers aged 12 to 17. This book club is a welcoming space where teens can chat about their latest reads and get inspired by others’ recommendations. Whether your child is a voracious reader or just starting to explore, this group offers a fun and relaxed environment to share stories and ideas.
The club meets once a month, providing a regular opportunity for young adults to connect over books. Each session encourages open discussion, helping participants develop their critical thinking and communication skills. New members are always welcome to join and bring fresh perspectives to the group.
The meetings take place at Wynnum Library, located at 145 Florence Street, Wynnum. The library is easily accessible by public transport and offers a quiet, comfortable setting perfect for group discussions. Parents can drop off their teens and enjoy the nearby amenities while the club is in session.
Bookings are required to secure a spot in the club. Parents can reserve a place by calling Wynnum Library at 07 3403 2199. The event is free of charge, making it an accessible option for families looking to encourage a love of reading in their children.
This event is free to attend but requires prior booking due to limited spaces. Contact the library directly to book your child's place and ensure they don't miss out on this engaging literary experience.
